How To Write a Screenplay

  • 12 week course that helps you find your story and establish three act structure.

  • Students will create a Treatment with feedback and then utilize this as a blueprint for writing their script.

Create an Original TV Series

$2,500

  • 12 week course that helps Students learn the steps to bring a TV Series to fruition.

  • Identify the story you want to tell.  Build a Treatment episode by episode. Find the opening hook for your TV Pilot ending with a cliffhanger to set your Season 1 in motion!

  • Learn the elements that comprise a Show Bible to pitch your project to the Industry. 

One-On-One Script Consulting

$250/ hour

  • Individual sessions to improve an already existing script or TV Pilot. This includes story analysis, notes, and 60 minute Zoom calls.

Meet your Mentor

DALLAS MITCHELL BRENNAN is an award-winning Writer/Producer, a graduate of Rutgers University, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, a Screenwriting Teacher at the New York Film Academy, and a Script Consultant. Dallas, as a Writer/Producer, formed Wren Court Films in 2003. Among his credits is the feature film "Rock the Paint," which received the Creative Promise Award at Tribeca Film Festival in 2004. The completed film had its festival debut at Tribeca Film Festival 2005, with an original score by Grammy Winner Wyclef Jean. In 2010 Brennan established his production company Wild Invention Pictures with the film “Shit Year" which premiered at Cannes 2010 starring Ellen Barkin, followed by  “The Loneliest Planet" at Toronto 2011 starring Gael Garcia Bernal and “The Lifeguard" at Sundance 2013 starring Kristen Bell. “The Loneliest Planet" received critical acclaim in 2012, including a Gotham Award Nomination for Best Picture and an Independent Spirit Award Nomination for Best Director Julia Loktev. It's since been released theatrically through IFC/Sundance Selects. “The Lifeguard" was theatrically released summer of 2013 by Focus World/Screen Media. Brennan produced “A Different Sun" in 2017, starring Chin Han, and most recently, “Moon Students" in 2023, released by Gravitas Pictures. He has several projects as a screenwriter in development, including “Sure," “Anna's Skin," “Patrick's Life," “Sands," “Juan's Vision," and “Deception Road." Undisputed Pictures recently Optioned the television series he Co-Created entitled “Clean." Over the past fifteen years, Brennan has developed extensive contacts within the film industry, including Major, Mini-Major, and Independent Distributors, as well as the select talent agencies WME, UTA, CAA, and ICM. His considerable experience has been utilized to execute the production slate, manage the team, package with talent agencies, negotiate with distributors, and plan future strategies.
